Ari

Ari is a three-time SAFTA Best Comedy Director winner for his sensational mockumentary Tali's Diary series, with the shows also ranking among the most awarded comedy series in South African television history. He is also the co-creator and director of the hugely popular web series SuzelleDIY, which has garnered over 32 million views on YouTube.

His feel for comedic timing and understanding of tonality make him equally adept at both situational humour and more stylised narratives, and his strong visual sensibility and background in post-production shine through in work that is distinct, punchy and memorable.

He has recently completed his first feature film, a crime comedy called The Shakedown, which was commissioned by Amazon MGM studios.
